A rather long time was necessary to prepare the first modern arts olympiad.

Indeed, one of the major specificities of the Olymp'Arts is the selection and the final vote which will be done exclusively by the world public,online and during the olympiads.

In 1995,when the"Olympic Arts" was founded at UNESCO and in the following years,the technical conditions were far from being met for this first implementation.

It was only from 2016 that all of these necessary conditions progressed sufficiently to enable the achievement of this unique challenge in the world:development in all countries of the Internet; of the universal mobile telephony;of multiple applications required; of social networks; of complex algorithms to create; etc...

Thus, the concrete organization of the selections and the global public vote only became possible as 2020 approached.

And unfortunately, it was COVID that ultimately set this revival back for a few more years.
